CHECK-IN: Thursday, February 11, 2010 between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The estate is 15 miles from the arrival airport in Kahului, Maui, Hawaii in U.S.A. Please arrange your own shuttle to the estate.
CHECK-OUT: Bring your bags to the parking lot in front of the estate before our 6:00 AM departure to the Molokini & Turtle Town Snorkeling and Whale Watch Adventure. Your rooms will be cleaned while we are on the trip. Upon return to the estate, you will no longer have access to your rooms. Check-out with the estate owners Tom and Doreena. Please arrange your own shuttle to Kahului Airport or other destination.

YOGA PRIVATE SESSIONS: Two Group Yoga Sessions with internationally acclaimed Meenakshi Angel Honig are included in all Retreat Packages. ADDITIONAL MASSAGE AND BODY CARE SERVICES: Included in all Retreat Packages is the use of the 50 foot Salt Water Lap Pool, the unltraviolet outdoor Jacuzzi, the sauna during specified hours and the fenced and gated outdoor fresh water shower for use before entering the pool, Jacuzzi or sauna.
If you are interested in scheduling massage or other body care services with healing plant essences, they are provided onsite at an additional expense that is discounted for retreat participants: 1 hour $100 (reg. $125), 1.5 hour $150 (reg. $185), 3 hour $295 (reg. $335). Doreena is a Certified Massage Therapist and Certified Aromatherapist.

TEMPERATURES, WHAT TO BRING, RULES: We are at 3000 foot elevation on the slopes of Haleakala and upcountry nights can be cool. Temperatures in February are usually in the 80's during the day, 70's during the mornings and 60's during the night upcountry.
Everything about this retreat is extremely comfortable and casual!
1. A sweater, shawl or light jacket for cooler upcountry nights and for the Molokini cruise.
2. Something comfortable for morning yoga sessions.
3. Swimwear is required for the lap pool and outdoor Jacuzzi as well as for the Molokini & Turtle Town Snorkeling and Whale Watching cruise. Snorkeling gear is included.
4. Sun protection such as hats, sun glasses, lotions and if you ever over due it, aloe! The skin can burn even on a cloudy day or while swimming. If your skin is sensitive, a long sleeve shirt for snorkeling might be a good idea. Please keep in mind that the sun might also burn through the shirt or while sitting under a tree in the shade.
5. Beach towel is optional for the Molokini cruise. We have a freshwater shower on the "Lani Kai" and you will dry quickly in the fresh warm air. Yet, if you prefer a towel for the cruise, you will need to bring one from home (not from the upcountry estate).
6. A common use washer and dryer are available outside the kitchen of the Grand Villa. If you would like something laundered, Doreena will launder it for you.
7. No computers and please turn the cell phone off before entering the property. Family may be given the estate emergency phone number for Doreena (808) 573-8002 (Hawaiian Standard Time) and you will be immediately notified.
8. No perfumes, fragrant body or hair products. No smoking, alcohol or recreational drug use.
